What is a piston lift pump? Where can I get one and what are the gains compared to an airdog?

If you get one make sure you get the low pressure lift pump.

 

And you having a 1993 12v get a 2nd gen mechanical lift pump.

 

the low pressure pump part # is HFP702. Also you will need a 3914284 spacer, 3924753 fuel line and 2 3939258 gaskets (or some chevy fuel pump gaskets LOL)

 

Ok thanks i'm gonna go to cummins next week and get the parts i don't know how well it'll go over because the guy behind the counter has a fit if you don't have an engine serial number, and he won't look in the book for it, but hopefully he can type in part numbers!
