I got my 92 4x4 5 speed 14 years ago for 8000 had 127000 on it bone stock. Been driving the same garbage truck for years with the 12 valve in it. Stop go all day long and hauling 6 to 8 tons a day. never had any engine problems at all. Thats what sold me on the truck. Just starting basic mods on the 92

Fell asleep and hit a phone pole with my 84 w150, love the old trucks and body style. My aunt owned my 89 before me as a farm truck, it was a rotted out mess that I picked up for $600 and went thru it front to back on her dime. About $2800 later it was legal and on the road. They always complained it was a guttless truck that couldn't get out of its own way and never shifted right. Afew turns of a screw and I let my aunt drive it, told her to put her foot in it and she broke a tire loose 1st thru second with the lag o magic and sloppy 727. Love these old girls

$3500 for mine, 230k on the clock. Interior in good shape as in dash not busted up, headliner not sagging, bench seat in good shape as are the carpets.
A/C ice cold, fires right up 1/2 turn of the engine.
Auto shifts nice and tight.
Engine looks extremely clean and the paint on the body and engine in great condition.
The only thing beat up on this truck is the inside of the bed. She was definitely used for hauling some big heavy stuffs!!!
Wing windows, quarter windows that OPEN, and slider back glass. Love it.
Bone stock when I got it.
I replaced the front rotors, calipers and pads.
In the last month, 4" full diamond eye exhaust, 3200 spring, all ve tweaks, added custom high idle "from cruise servo" and re-purposed one of the cruise buttons as od on/off button.
Full set of gauges will be here in 2 days.
Funny thing, I never looked twice at the 1st gens. Now I love them. Wife and kids hate it. Makes me love it even more.

needin a dd when i sold my 89 w100, always had mad love for cummins (born bred mopar boy) so is was a no brainer that i wanted another 1st gen ram. they're stone simple and can take a ton of abuse. picked mine up for 2200 with 416k on the clock. lovin the 23 mpg at 70 mph instead of 8 from the tired old 318...
