I saw a vid of a supercarged 2nd gen and thought it would be cool if you could do that to a 1st gen. Can it be done?

how would you intercool the boost with a roots type blower ?

 

its a sweet setup. i know a guy right near me who has a supercharger setup running with a 80mm turbo. u can find him on here. i think his name on here is Turboluvr. im sure he could help. the charger he used is like $4k i think tho

 

Jason at Diesel Power has been talking about dropping his pro charger on project rust bucket, I hope he does.

 

A TURBO WOULD overheat the supercharger intake air. if you need more boost just go bibber turbo or double turbos, dont mix the 2 chargers up. there is no professional race engines that do this for a reason. JMO

What you scared of? You put almost 500hp worth of nitrous through that thing, I don't think the super charger will phase it!
