Default timing gear alinement HELP, HELP

Removed my injection pump weeks ago and skipped a tooth on the injection pump to cam gear while putting back together. Does any one know where i can find the correct timing for the injection pump . Have the letters D E C on pump gear and only one of thoses should be in line with the (O) on the cam gear. The timing cover is off truck so i can see every thing clearly. The different letters are for different applications Mine is a 1993 dodge auto trans. HELP.

I'm not sure if a 5.9 is the same as a 8.3 cummins hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I think there is a dowl pin behind the pump pull it out and turn the engine over by hand untill the spot where dowl pin goes into lines up then push dowl pin in and turn the engine bit by bit untill it pops into place. Then throw it back together. But like I said Im not sure if it's the same as a 8.3 cummins I've never pulled 1 off my 5.9 but that's what I know from working on a 8.3l

That simply brings cylinder #1 to top-dead-center.

- Stock timing at the gears is O to E.
- One tooth advanced is O to C.

If you're wanting to put the IP timing close to stock/OEM with the pump advance one tooth you'll need to pull the pump back such that the IP mark is about 1/4" to 3/8" or so before the case mark. That will put you in the ballpark.
