That's the problem though, Cummins are in such high demand around here, everyone wants one so the prices are really high. After test driving it again I've decided against it. I moved on and found a 93 w250 in alot better shape with fewer miles. It's an older guy that has it so I'm fairly certain it was taken care of and not toyed with. He still wants $4500 but I'm sure I can bring that down. My only question is whether or not the motor was swapped in, because the truck is a regular cab short bed, but pictures verify it is a 3/4 ton and he said on the phone that it is the Cummins. I'll know for sure this weekend when I go to take a look at it.

I think you made a good decision to move on from the other truck.
Regarding the one you are looking at, I can't seem to recall ever seeing a short bed 3/4 ton Cummins truck

Perhaps it is legit just a very rare production?

No shortbeds were made, the guy don't know what he's talkin about or a liar.

if you could pick it up for 2,000-2,500 maybe, but you better look at the frame to see
what kind of job was done shortening it, it could be dangerous to drive.

Good thing you passed something like that will be a money pitt, and don't convince yourself into a truck, because I. Did and my tranny went out a month later and stuff started breaking bit by bit.
