so the other day one of the grounds under the hood came of and now i dont have brake lights or blinkers and the dome light stays on and dosent cut off. also the wait to start dosent come on either... but i can still start it and the radio still plays??? whats going on here? any help would be appreciated....

try checking all the fuses and also check the blinker relay thats where i would start looking. i had my blinkers and tail lights go out on my 1998.5 and it was the blinker relay went bad. as for your the tail lights do they light up when you hit the brakes

 

check your multifunction switch too. all blinkers and brake lights go through it. sounds like a short.

 

Or a lack of power to it, rebuilt my 84. They worked before I tore it apart, didn't after . Just cut the main feed line and spliced in a voltage supply line. Got my brake lights and blinkers back
