yesterday i decided it was time to tune the pump again. i turned the starwheel another half of a turn making it 1 full turn and that was it. i put everything back together and started the truck and it ran fine. i backed out and hit the pedal and it was rock solid stuck. i went into drive and hit it and the throttle got stuck so i shut the truck off, then i started it back up and everything was fine?? and has more power than ever!!

 

Didn't get the fuel pin back in correctly? Ive always been under the assumption that If the fuel pin is hung up on the rack pin the AFC top won't go back on. The more power than ever could be from the rack pin being stuck in a WOT condition leaving your foot to control rack travel freely

i turned the pin so the steepest side is towards the front of the truck?

 

By steepest you mean the more shallow part?
