Default Where to find build thread for 600lb/tq on VE?

Hey guys,

I've been reading all the posts here. Great info! I have a 1990 W350 tug w/ 9k miles, and I'm putting the 6bt in my 1984 CUCV M1009 Blazer. I weigh around 7k lbs, on 37s, th400, winters shifter w/ reverse pattern, and the D60 and 14B FF will be going in with the motor.

I searched but came up empty more or less. Is there a build on here, with, say a detailed list, of what it takes to get in the neighborhood of 600, 600+ lb/tq from my 6bt with the VE pump.

On many posts I find a little info pertaining to the pump, or the turbo etc. I was hoping to find a consolidated thread that has all the puzzle pieces put together so I can plan successfully, knowing that the complete package of mods works together.

Any input on my general idea is appreciated. This is an adventure machine. Not uncommon to do 1k+ miles in a weekend, hitting trails, camping, kayaking, etc.

Thanks in advance,

Dave

Look in the sticky. It has all the links to the build up threads. Good set of small injectors, turbo, some minor pump mods, fuel pin, 3200 spring.... done, 600 ft lbs should be easy and should be reliable.
