I did not want to take over that one persons thread.

I only know of 3 types of bellhousings for the cummins motor
sae 1 normally in forestry equipment
sae 2 used in truck and industrial
sae 3 used in marine

what auto trans will fit these applications

what stick trans will fit these applications

I do know the splicer trans in the 5ton millitary vehicles will fir the sae #2 housing and then there is a bread truck with a 4 speed trans that uses the sae #2 as well.

the reason I bring this up, I know that there is alot transmission that will fit the bell housings from cummins and I was looking into getting (maybe) fuller trans (if money is right)

or if there is another alternative transmission out there, that I dont have to spen alot of money buying it or even fabricating.

I have found some threads talking about the RT, RTO 6610 TRANS working with sae #2

these transmissions are 10 speeds.
