have 1 ton reg cab work truck its 4x4 when you hit a pot hole the wheel will shake out of your hand they changed front tires steering box and steering coupler still the same thing not sure what to look at next its a oilfield truck with 17000 hours but only 43000 miles thanks ron

 

Might want to try a steering stabilizer

 

What about slop in the drag link? I'd make sure all the joints are tight, including the knuckles. With the truck running in park crawl in the fender well and turn the steering shaft back and fowarth while watching for slop in everything.

All so check front axle leaf spring bushings all 6. Mine were worn out causing the same thing.
