i am having questions about what and where is the best rebuild kit for a g360 5 sp manual tranny.
i need all new forks, syncros, bearings, seals, gaskets, etc...and i want to replace the inpt shaft and cluster shaft. my truck has 326,000 miles on it and all but one syncro is shot.
any help on the kit, and the best place to buy. thanks

 

if you want to do new input and main and counter buy a new tranny to replace all 3 shafts will set you back about 550 and the rebuild kits are I belive 230 and the forks come as a complete unit in a new top cover for I belive about 150

to spend about 930 for a rebuild parts you can get a reman unit for about 1100 or less

unless you have issues with your shafts there is no reason to replace

I have 5 getrags in service around the nation rebuilt in house by me personally and never had a complaint with one.
