Rebuilding Injectors
Just saw a couple of videos on Youtube about how to rebuild the injectors which looked fairly easy, just replacing some orings and the the injector nozzle. Have any of you tried it? Where did you buy the parts? Seems like it is a major saving over replacing them.
Thank you
Thank you
the nozzles aren't what go bad it's the ball and seat in the injector you can't rebuild that part your better off replacing them if you need them replace all 8 at one time in a LB7 or your asking for trouble doesn't hurt to adjust the valves while it's torn down makes a huge improvement

no problem I have a 2002 and just replaced mine myself cost was about $2,000 I used injectors from merchant automotive I sent my cores in first to keep from paying the $800 core charge. lincon diesel is also a good plece. never buy used or rebuild injectors. you want bosh oem for best results
These injectors are quite picky. Remans are fine if they are genuine bosch. 3rd party remans can be all over the place.
If you want good tested injectors on our tested on our high pressure Common Rail Bench price is $125 each.
We have a ton or Genuine Bosch as well
