I have a 1992 w250 with an auto trans and will be swapping in a nv4500.

Will a 1st gen clutch master cylinder work with a 2nd gen clutch slave cylinder?

Will I need a bracket to mount the 1st gen master to the firewall?

Does anyone sell a hose instead of the stock plastic one?

I dont think they will work using one with the other

but 2nd gen ones are a direct bolt in we ran into that prob on the mystery truck and I just poped off the "C" clip on the pedal and twisted the master out of the fire wall and poped the stock 2nd gen one in and was on my way

 

so a 1st gen master cylinder bracket will work with 2nd gen master?

 

bracket? they twist and lock into the fire wall

 

I'm converting from an auto to a stick.
I was told I need a bracket that goes on the steering column to hold the 1st gen clutch master.

 

ah ha I miss read your 1st post I thought u were going from getrag to NV in that case let me do some looking on a few trucks I got around here and take a pic or 2 for you
