getrag problem

i had the same problem couldnt figure out how to get it out, its a real pain. the counter shaft has a shaft that runs inside of it maybe a half an inch thick or so and the berrings ride on this shaft there is a snap ring that is on each end that hold the berrings on. you take one of the snap rings off and go to town with a hammer and a punch dont be afraid to get a little western with it, it will fight you almost all the way out. and as soon as it comes out the counter shaft will slide right out. i hope i explained it good enough for you to understand. good luck. oh and be carefull with the rubber coated plug i believe you have to reuse it or i did anyways!
