Default engine swap

hey guys,

so i have my 92 cummins 4x4 auto. and i really want a 5 spd. i found a 92 cummins 5spd that needs an engine so you can probably see where im thinking to go with it. the body on it is mint.

my question is how much work am i looking at to take my cummins out and drop it in the new one? am i going to run into problems with it being from an auto going into a standard?

thanks for the help

Graeme

Going from a cummins chassis to another is the easiest way to do it. No big issues what so ever.

The only difference is the tps on your pump. the autos had it, the 5speed engines did not. it would be easier to use the wiring harness out of the manual trans truck and just don't plug in your tps
