Default Steering shaft issues please help!!!

I have a 1993 ram w250 and I had replaced a broken gear box mount. I replaced it with one from a ram charger and now the steering shaft is too short... I do not know the Cause and was wondering if the mount was different?? It's from a 1988 ram charger. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Thats odd, but the aftermarket steering shafts (borgenson i think??) should fix that problem.

im 16 so money is tight. i was wondering if it was ok to modify it by cutting the shaft in half and using a 6'' peace of pipe as a sleeve with adjustable set screws or possibly just weld it into position where it is set to the right length
