finally finished my beta version of the ole smokey air intake. Got the plate in and slid a piece of 5" aluminum irrigation pipe in the hole. Then I trimmed my factory element until it slid in (and seized). Then I cut my factory intaketube and inseted a piece of 4" thin pvc in the elbows. The pipe was bell ended. so it was a little loose on the 5" end but it tightened down. Now at about 30 mph I can hear her sing. Bet it'll be louder when the exhaust does't end under the bed.
