Default All of a sudden high idle HELP>

i was on a 700 mile trip and was running great then i came into a small town and tried to slow down at the lights and it wanted to keep going i thought the throttle stuck but seems free ,plus while stopped in neutral i noticed the rpm will drop some but if i romp the throttle it goes high again...

check under the hood at the pump and see what is sticking. does your truck shut down easy.

pump looks turned up as the welded collar is missing and the smoke screw cap is missing and it did run awesome. changed the pump and problem is solved but used a stock pump i had so now it runs stock . i need pump rebuilt and would like to keep it turned up any suggestions??
