Default smoke and leak

I have an 89 12 valve in a 99 ford f-350, smoking real bad all the time, blue smoke not oil smells like fuel, I have this engine inner cooled, is it ok to do this with an engine not originally inner cooled? inj. pump is also leaking. thanks

the leak is between the back two bodies on the inj. pump It has been leaking off and on for a while. my concern is will this non inner cooled pump be alright running an inner cooler. I am going to fix the pump, but was'nt shore if I needed a pump off of 2nd gen 12v. Also I found a pump off of a stationary cummins . Will it work? thanks

your cylinder head could be cracked where the the injectors come in next to the valves. i just blew my head gasket and when i got it all apart i found out i had 6 cracks on 1-5 cylinders and the #2 cylinder had a crack going to both the intake and exhaust valve which i belive caused the valves on that cylinder to pit all to hell. my truck for a while had alot of blue smoke so i think thats wat did it. thats just my imput though.

I dare you to find a 1st gen 9mm head w/o cracks... you wont. They don't hurt anything and are perfectly normal.

If they are gapping holes then yes. If just a hairline they are fine, VERY common.
