If you are using the '94-'97 style shifter, the handle will definitely need re-bent.
If you are using a '94-'97 shift TOP, the 1992-1993 GAS NV4500 shifter STUB and handle is THE factory piece to use.
The handle is a simple straight stick and it screws onto the shifter stub, same as the old Getrag.
The handle is EASY to find, since Getrag is the same, the hard part is the shifter stub itself, which is '92-'93 Dodge GAS NV4500 only.
The difference in shifter hole spacing is @ 4 inches.
Mark.

I thought you had bought a good 4x4 NV4500 for $600 from someone?
If you have access to shop tools, press, grinder, snap/lock ring pliers, etc., then buy a bearing, synchro and seal kit and re-build it yourself.
If you can locate a guide to dis-assemble and re-assemble it, that'd certainly be a bonus.
A word of caution if you don't have a guide, the 5th gear synchro assembly can be a stubborn and confusing item.
I broke the synchro hub on my first one, because I didn't understand how it came apart.
Good thing I always disassemble a JUNKER of everything I'm learning to work on, first.

the more i read about people lookin for this, trying to find what goes with what. I'm thinkin i may just break down and buy the complete conversion kit from nv4500.com. a little expensive yes, but no guessing work and pretty much just bolt it in.
