ok i have a 1997 12v auto and it stays in lockup and i have no od what causes that can the shift control solinoid cause both those things???

Hey look in the 2nd Gen forum I plan on doing a 47rh swap n I've seen alot of post of problems like yours

I don't run the 47rh,(yet) I use the 518 but use a manual o/d switch, and every since i put in the shift kit in the v/b it wont drop down until i stop all the way or floor it at slow speeds. (not really a problem though)so it may have something to do with that part of the trany.
