Default Hola, new diesel user aboard!

Hey guys, Ive got a few questions for ya'll. Well lemme start off by saying you guys are all very knowledgeable peopl and really know your trucks! And thus why I'm now a member. But anywhoo, I have a highly customized '90 Ramcharger that we put a '92 cummins in! It's a beast! 4x4, 4.10's on 37's with teflon wheels, no rust! stock w250 lift up front and a 5" in the back to get her even. Putting in the 3200 GSK 2moro, Denny T when it arrives in the mail, star wheel and smoke pin all the way down, and looking for injectors. So A. What's the best way to tell which turbo I have on there? Is there an imprint or easy measurement? I know a lot about my motor except that one fact. call me dumb.. and also with the bigger fuel pin and 3200 GSk, how important is it for me to get the bigger injectors? And if i go bigger, how big? and when will i need a bigger lift pump with said injectors? Sometimes I feel lost. also If i decide to go with a 16 or WGT'd 14 then what should I go with and what's the best comp/turbo combo? any info would help!

youll have an h1c... the larger of the 2 h1c's but its still a relatively small turbo. i wouldnt get injectors until you have a better lift pump... as soon as you have those 2 youll want a turbo... as soon as you have that youll NEED a clutch or built auto, depending on what transmission you have.

you need to read about the "power screw/fuel screw"... that will give you some pep. also read about runaway and fuel shut down solenoid before you mess with the power screw.

Lol I figured as much. Whats the recommended "next step" fuel pump? I have a south bend so my clutch is good to go. Ok, thanks a lot man. And I have both my star wheel and smoke screw tightened all the way down flush (Powered up) are u talking about another screw?

yep... power screw is the big daddy of the screws on the VE pump... youre going to want to move the smoke screw back up if you mess with the power screw... youll really make smoke when the power screw is turned.

read this

then heres something that has power/fuel screw written in there.
Turning up the pre 94 Ram diesel injector pump

the next step fuel pump would be a piston pump for mechanical or an airdog/fass/walbro if you want electrical. piston pumps come in low pressure and high pressure. you need to regulate the high pressure but it puts out lots of fuel even when you start making lots of power.
