rearend gears ??????????????

Default rearend gears ??????????????

i need some info on the highest numeric number of rearend gears that a 93 2500 came with heres why my buddy had a 95 2500 that we turned up to the moon but he rolled it so he came across a 93 2500 4x4 with a rod knock so we swaped the motors out the truck is a 5spd but the dam thing wont go no faster than 70mph its fn bending the needle on the tach but it will tow just about anything. the guy he bought it from said he order that way due to his concrete and block bisiness we are planing to swap rears over from the rolled truck too just wanted to know if anybody seen this before and know the ratio of this thing thanks.

sounds like it's got a 4.10 rear in it to me.

thats what mine had, and with the 5spd it was a bear to keep up on the highway, I went back to the stock 3.50 gears when my rear end exploded and I can run 80-85 all day without breakin a sweat

only two gear options from dodge would have been 3.54 or 4.10

ok thanks we swaped it out with a 3.54 rear today out of the rolled truck and my buddy hates it cuz it dont pull as hard but alot better goin down the road

I like the way mine pulls with the 3.50 gears in it.. gears don't wind out every 10' of road you travel amd still has some umph left on the highway instead of struggling all wound out at 70mph..

does he have a 366 governor spring in it? if not get that it'll be night and day!

edit: nevermind.. you have a p-pumped motor in it.

yea i think its better had same problem in a old k20 chevy i had 427 tall deck sm465np205 with 430 rears fn sucked goin down the road even with 35s on it.
