throttle linkage
i broke the plastic end on my linkage at the ic . found some thing that works , but the throttle stuck W/O this morning scared the $hit out of me
. any way the new head i found is binding should i just file it down or is there a better option?

Down towards the bottom in my post is the ppart numbers for Cummins. They are pretty cheap.

thanks for the input but since this happened on the way to work I needed to fix it today . went to napa and found some heim joints that would work and made up a linkage on lunch those metal ends look pretty sweet if my brothers truck ever has a problem Thanks.

I call it a hand throttle and use it mostly to high idle for warmup in the winter. But it does make a pretty good cruise control, as well.
