Default need help truck smokes bad

well i changed the injection pump about two months ago and she was running like a top. onthe way to moms house after an 8 hour drive I am coming into town and coasting down a hill at 75 mph and i look back to see three lanes of white smoke, and than it backfires. I step on it and the smoke goes away. now i find that it will smoke anytime it is coasting with very little throttle. so i get to dads house and we start checking.

setting in the driveway reving it up free it will smoke bad, and maybe miss. get the temp gun out and #6 is colder than #1 by 60 degrees. so we think injectors.

buy new SDX 5x.12 and still smokes white but does run better.

we drive it to the injection pump shop and he says maybe the timing sliped in the pump.

pull the pump and return it to the shop that rebuilt it first and they test it and inspect it and can't find anything wrong.

so what else could be happening with my 93.

well on a ve pump the timing gear is keyed so slipping is pretty much out of the question. try testing the temp on all of the cylinders now that you got the new injectors in there. and go from there.

smells like raw fuel, we draped a white cloth over the exhaust and no moisture or oil.

the timing was at about 1/8 bump and key was in and the nut was tight. and had been for 7 weeks
has not been using antifreeze, i can't tell oil consumption because it leaks so much from the rear main and vaccum pump. ordering parts to fix these as well.
changed filter at the begining of the trouble shooting and filled tank and used about half of new tank to eliminate water in fuel.

did a leakdown test and compression test and all holes were relitivly the same. within 20 lbs of each other.

testing will not be untill late new week as i am not in the same state as the truck.

thank you all.

do you have a fuel pressure gauge? if not this is why we get them. you need to know what your fuel pressure you might be gettin a bad lift pump but we need more info to diagnose it

I'm working on a fuel pressure guage even if it is temp. for right now.

If i was closer to home i could be faster with new info but I'm stuck working 10 hours away from the truck and it is strung out between three states.
soonest i will be able to work on it again is wed.the 9th.
