Default baffle in my turbo is this true?

If so can I remove it for more flow and NOISE and be safe with my egt?

Also some argue that the ring aids in flowing cleaner air. I'm not sure were I stand on this, I can see it being true but I'm not sure it would be enough to really matter.

the only thing you could do is swap in an HX-35 and remove the silencer ring from it, it would give you a slight improvement in MAP range and make more noise. thats about it.
