Default Driveline issues.

This thing is drivin me nuts lately! where do I go from here?

Had all kinda weird vibration in 4wd awhile back, couldn't figure out exactly what it was until the rear bearing of the front output on the np205 let loose and took out the back cover with it causing flaming gear oil to shoot from under the truck on the freeway.. fixed all that.

still having some weird vibes, so I replaced ALL the u-joints and the carrier bearing the other day, still grinding and vibrating (in 2wd. and 4wd)

under load it's just a vibration.

under light throttle it's pretty noisy and rattly, kind of a metal on metal sound

coasting, nothing regardless if clutch is in or out.

anyways, the other day on the freeway something got chewed up because the truck briefly lugged down, like something bound somewhere, got chewed up and then spit out, rattling noise went away but still have the vibration, really noticeable in 4th and 5th gear not so much in 1-3. kindof at a loss,

which sounds most likely:

1.) clutch/pilot bearing etc.
2.) my poor getrag dying
3.) something still wrong in the transfer case.

either way, a lot has to come apart and I don't have the cash to redo everything like I need to, also can't have the truck down since it's my only vehicle.

misc: just changed fluid in the transmission, was really low! new fluid in transfer case. all this ragardless if hubs are locked or not, but i'm leaning towards the clutch right now.

Im betting on the transmission, shafts and bearings worn out, things aren't meshing together right. Did any metal come out of the transmission with the old oil?

no metal in what drained out, but there was only like 1-2qts in there. no change in operation after I filled it back up/overfilled it

4th gear has always been a pain to me, almost like there's not enough throw to put it solidly into gear lot of missed shifts, pops out of gear if i get on it hard then let out and coast.

any suggestions on where to get parts? i dunno if I can swing a NV unless i find one in a yard (impossible)

on the rear where it connects to the transfer case? far as I know there is no yoke on it? i'm gonna look for parts breakdown or manual stuff after my next meeting here.

edit: looked in the sticky, apparently i'm the guy that found and posted a link to a parts breakdown haha
