let me be clearer... the 44 is under a '90GMC with a beat 350 haha. it'll hold up in the mud well enough for me right now.

my red 91 chevy i had straight axled on 40's had a HP HD 44 in it and those tires ate that thing up. i replaced axle shaft and axle shaft and bearing after bearing in that thing. and that just had a vortec 350 gasser in it
ever since then ive run 60's and never had a problem

dust so you know i live in PA it doesn't matter what the straight axle is it's worth cash. i go to a junk yard and none of the trucks that had straight fronts have them any more, ford dodge or chev. but our dodge D60 are very good gotta love the king pins, samr as my 73 ford keep them greased and they never wear out.
