Default 24v power steering pump on a 12 valve?

hey guys i am in need of replacing ym power steering pump, and since i have hydroboost, im trying to eliminate my splicing for the return lines

well on a 2001 24v truck with hydroboost, it looks like an identical pump, mounting and everything, except for the fact that its got a 2nd return line

anyone know if a 24v power steering pump will fit a 12 valve casing? thanks

also the 12 valve 94-98 cummins uses the same part number as the power steering pump on the 2001 24 valve. so since theyre the same, im guessing theyd go on a 1st gen 12 valve as well

no its just a stock 93 normal vacuum pump, but my truck has hydroboost so i had to splice two return lines together to go into the one return line. my main worry is if the shaft that spins is the same and if it will bolt up the same.

If all you need is a second return line just use the pump reservoir off of a hydraboost gm pump on your existing pump. They are both Sagnaw parts and should work.

well i needed a new pump regaurdless, i took my 93 pump in and got a 97 hydroboost pump and compared the two, they look to be 100% identical, so if anyone ever wants to install hydroboost, a newer pump should workl
