I noticed a "seat of the pants" difference but have no numbers or any proof of a difference. It seems like it gave it a bit more top end power and overall more consistent power. I went to the junk yard and bought this intercooler out of an 02 so it had the updated intercooler. I also pickup the intercooler tubing and used it for my truck otherwise it would have been much harder to make the piece to adapt the stock turbo to the 3in. The aluminum elbow off of the 24v fits onto my turbo and for the turbo side I simply used all of the OEM 24v stuff. on the intake side I went down to my local performance shop and purchased a piece of 90 degree mandrel bent tubing, I already had steel to make the flat plate. I recessed my a/c condenser behind the intercooler, which didn't require me to remove it so no recharge was needed. I had to make mounts for the condenser, which sit where the stock intercooler goes through the firewall. All in all it took me a night to do and was a very fun project. I will try to get more pics of it today while I'm tackling putting the second gen folding tow mirrors on.
ok thanks, pics would be great, did you have to cut any of your frame off to make it fit.

I had to cut the core support where the end tanks are so that the intercooler hoses could come through. I also had to make mounts for the new intercooler that are welded to the core support.
