Newbie here wandering were the best place to buy replacement fenders for my 90 w250. Also it has considerable rust above windshield and would like to fix this myself. any tips would be helpful. thanks much.

 

my dad had rust above his windshield alot at the we had it sprayed with line-x and as far as replacement fenders check ebay with wholesale car parts just type in dodge w250 parts

 

on the inside?because its rusting from the inside.

 

that is by no means a fix, and definitely not the correct way to do anything like that. i would recomend finding any of that generation dodge cab in good shape and cut out the panel out metal and re weld it into your truck if you have the skills, that is the CORRECT way to repair it unless you can roll the metal yourself.

you may also be able to find a place that makes the replacement panels of common rust spots as well. as for fenders also junkyards or wrecking yards are good for replacement. dont buy an aftermarket set of fenders theyre weak and junk and dont hardly ever fit right. try and find a good condition rust free set of OEM fenders for the best fit and quality

 

naw on the top but the rain gutter outside the truck seemed to work well and the then we painted over it looked good worked for us we didnt care :u:

 

of course it will work for a little while,so will bubblegum!

 

the only reason it works is because you cant see it anymore. am i right

 

yupp tht and we were selling it so instead of dumping money into it we patched itthe buyer didnt care he really wanted the truck

 

Check in the parts section of 1stgen.org. There is alot of people with parts layin around for these trucks

 

Just go to the junk yard and find a ramcharger, they are everywhere!
