HX35 vrs stock head gasket?

Will a HX35 12cm wastgated turbo blow my stock head gasket on my 5 sp getrag?

It could but it shouldn't a head gasket can go for a variety of reasons...if your pushing more then 40 psi your pushing the limits but not necessarily gonna blow it

What kinda timing your running? I would be more worried about that then a stock turbo.

it all depends on the gasket i have seen some blow at startup and others at over 100psi like stated keep it under 35-40 and keep your eyes open

I've been running a PDRHX35 with a 14 wastegated housing for about 3 years with no problems to date. I see 35 to 38 psi of boost on a dyno - you can look at my sig for HP and torque numbers.

Stock timing. anyone have any problems with the extra boost and an exhaust brake? I have a (I think factory option) jacobs extarder remote( about 6-8 inches past turbo).
