what kind of mpgs and will they take the abuse of 200 mile trips every few weeks?

i found a 93 12v 5 speed 4x4 so just wondering and how much should i be looking at to pay for one in stock condition?

it depends on how you drive. i would say 18-20. i have a 92 1 ton 2 wheel drive with and auto and 3.54s and i have got 29mpg a few times but i also had the frame cut down and put a short bed on it. i usually average 24-25 hwy

yea i looked the kbb up on it and the private retail is 5k on an excelent truck and this ones not perfect but its way nicer than most ive seen the only problem is he wants 6900 for it

6900 is alot. I would try to talk him down. thats just me.

I've had serious offers for mine between 5-6k and it's gettin a bit rusty. same 93 ext. 5spd duallie. just rolled 280,000 2 days ago.

as for a 200mile trip? c'mon! I put 200-300miles a week on mine

I drove mine from ohio-pa-alabama then back put on about 5-600 miles or so at a time (just over 3000 round trip) with no real problems. used maybe a qt or 2 of oil. and a lot of fuel.. got crappy towing mpg of about 12 but with current mods that should go up a bit

yea thats what i thought when i saw the price! 189000 miles pump turned up, air intake and 5in straight pipe so faily stock. plus the paints only starting to come off the bed and the hoods got a faded spot.

hood and roof fade out real bad..

I think about every seam in my bed is rattling apart... might be flatbed time


see if you can get him down around 5k
