With a donor truck you can steal the parts from, not hard at all. You have a 4wd, so you already have the big tranny hump so that isn't a problem.

Just take the shift tower out. Two rubber boots and one snap ring. Make sure its in N before you jerk the shifter out.

The tranny tail shaft will be wrong for the transfer case.

Only if you want the transfer case to bolt up to it.

If you find a good deal on a 2wd 5-speed I'm pretty sure you can swap the tail shaft from 2wd to 4wd

I just had my getrag rebuilt but I don't know what oil to put in it?????? The rebuilder says 75-90syn. because he put brass synos in it. everyone here says 5w-30w??

Also I have a np 205 and am not sure what oil is in it or what is suppose to be in it?

Any help will be appreciated
