a new one can be had for around $1300 if you look around. Used about 600-800

If you are happy with the truck's performance other than the high EGT's and don't want to spend the coin for a turbo upgrade (though it is great advice ), maybe consider water/methanol injection. Should be able to knock close to 300 degrees off your EGT's, increase your fuel mileage a smidge and, depending on your water-to-meth mix ratio, gain up to around 70 hp. Figure around $700.00 for a good kit from people like Snow Performance Snow Performance: Stage 2 Diesel Boost Cooler?.

Isn't that a 66mm T4 Flanged turbo Logan? Your gonna need an adaptor, and I bet spool up wont be the best.

If your gonna use a Water/Meth kit to cool EGT's all the time your gonna need a HUGE tank...

just when i pull up hills or passing another vehicle.
