i hear ya; then again it may also keep the center bearing housing cooler too. but i do understand where your comming from; keeping that heat in means longer to get it out... if you read up on VHT fiberglass header wrap they say that it can even help accelerate flow... keeps the heat going where it should instead of trying to go everywhere else. idk like i said it's all on theory of operation but in all way's keeping underhood temperatures down by limiting one of the largest radiant heat sources can be a good thing

Turbo Heat Shields i was browsing the 2nd gen threads and there was a starting issue this guy posted the website for electrical related problems when i found the heat shield here... notice what he says "does not hold heat in the tubo" hell for 20 bucks ya cant go wrong....

i was going to buy the 60 mm upgrade but there sold out at the momment

but it brought you down that much wow.

I'm at 1600* by about 40mph... If i do a full throttle run to 80-85 it takse about 4 seconds for the needle to come off the peg.

Wow thats probably the largest drop in EGT's I've ever heard of from a 60mm upgrade! Thats awesome!

What are your plans for teh truck? if your looking for a high performance play truck I would not waste my money on a 60mm upgrade and put that towards saving up for a real turbo like a S300.
