im lin at buy a 92 cummins 3500 ext long bed dually 4x4. the drive train is in good condition but the body is shot. it comes with a complete rollin chassis thats ready to be painted. now my question is how hard is it going to be to swap the bodies(after paint) and what can i do to turn up the engine relatively cheap. any ifo willl be appreciated.

well i did the same thing to mine. when i swaped the cab it took me nine months cuz i jus kinda worked on it every now and then, its pretty easy, just unscrew all the interor, and there will be four bolts in the cab total, one in each corner, swap it and then reverse it. the toughest part for me was reconnecting all the wires. As far as performance you can turn up your pump which helps a little bit, but the cheapest bought upgrade you can do is install a $20 3200 rpm spring
