yep, on the 84 gasser after the resto the windshiled wipers wouldn't work unless the dome light was on or the door was open. now tell me if that'd defeat the purpose running down the road with the door open durring a rainstorm? but, yeah as associated with wacky electrical problems, just need a proper ground.
