Found a NV4500 2wd tranny from a cummins(from a 97) for $700 so probley going to do that then spend a $1050 to get my a518 tranny rebuilt to factory spec's.

yea the pass. side is 3/4 of an in back and needs pushed over ot driver's side a bit, plan on doing that christmas break.

Just picked up my NV4500 from mark, great guy to deal with and unbeatable price's!!! Going to start conversion on Dec. 22!!!

VERY EXCITED!

Doing the swap this tuessday. Just waiting on my Valir clutch to get her and my flywheel resurfaced also gotta pick up my clutch pedel and hydro's.

Also probley going to order some 5x12's in a week or 2.

Also probley getting these 2 12's, amp and wiring kit for chirstmas for the ol cummins.

hey man im 16 to Got my first gen bout 8 months ago and love it to death lastnight me and my dad just put on my hx35w turbo and i got a 4" exhaust for christmas but u sound like ur havin fun wit ur truck also i was on a waitn list for the gds 60mm upgrd its a long waitin list seems like everyone wants it but check round and try to fing a cheaper hx35 i love mine and it screams like a banshee good luck man

Ya but the HX35 won't keep the egt's low enough for 5x12's, fuel pin, an what not and still tow my built 75' GMC(roughly 7500lb) and my jeep to the trails and mud holes and then when ever my buddy's need help towing something.

But thanks and yea I love this truck and can't wait to get another one!! Next time tho want a 4wd dully cummins!
