What yall think?
Well tommrow were going to pull the bed off and get the air dog 100 installed and not sure what to do with the stacks yet. My y-pipe has 5" outlet's but the stack has a 4" inlet and where the stacks will be at their is a crossmember for the tank to support it so gonna try and figure something out.
make your measurements with the bed on and find out exactly where you want your y-pipe cut the hole for the y pipe and then mark where the inlet has to come up through. take the bed off and while its off for your air dog install cut the notch out of the support and reinforce it to make up for material you just removed, you shouldt have to cut all the way thru it, maybe half way

as for the 4" inlet on your stacks; you could just cut the inlet off, the Y pipe might have a 5" ID bell on it to start with; as long as the OD of your stack is 5" they'll slide into the Y pipe

just looked a tth epic of your Y-pipe... looks like it has the bell on it so it's a 5" ID.. measure your stacks if they're 5" OD they'll slide right into your y-pipe once you cut the 4-5 adapter off of them

Well we already did a pre-cut with the plasma cutter saturday morning before I went to work so now just gota finish cutting it, then like you said cut the cross-member and just make a whole new cross-member with a bend in it to go around exhuast or somehting.
No the stack will not slide into the y-pipe we checked it saturday morning. But hopefully have something figured out tommrow.
But should hopefully have both stacks and air dog on by tommrow after-noon and got a meeting with a UTI repersenative to hopefully go their once senior year is up this year! Pretty damn excited!!

you get yourself a BHAF and old smokey mount in the mix yet? if you look in the aftermarket section of the first gens i did a small write up... pretty crappy but it has all the measurements you need... its pretty much identical to all the other blueprints for the mounts except i added a little extra material here and there and utilized the stock mount for a sturdier filter mount. i want to get the filter and some new cut off discs either tomorrow or tuesday so i can finish the install... would have liked to get it done tomorrow as i'm going to be heading on a small trip while i'm out job hunting and the old filter is pretty crappy

scratch that; just read your sig for like the 250th time
cant believe i didnt catch the BHAF

Not much going on with the cummins as im having to save up for tranny rebuild, lost 2nd gear pretty much. $1050 to get it rebuilt with a shift kit, I just have to pull the tranny and bring it to the shop. Also while she's down going to replace both front brake line's(drivers side is leaking) and fix the oil leak(oil injection pump gasket).
