The shaft on my 1st gen throttle linkage got real sloppy. The plastic bushing was wiped out. I was searching around my garage for something I could make to fix it. Turns out a .38 caliber shell casing is the perfect size. The inside diameter, outside diameter and wall thickness are all perfect. I just cut it to length and slipped it in with a little grease. Now I have a brass bushing instead of the plastic to boot.I know millions of you have been losing sleep over this.
