That is a beautiful illustration. If you want 400hp, get a 2nd-gen P-pump engine and then rewrite your shopping list. For a VE pump, 400hp is at the edge. For a P-pump, 400 is nearly child's-play, by comparison. Either way, you're going to be having to do a little bit of fitment work on the truck's firewall, and right behind the grille, so you might as well do it in a reliable manner, even if the p-pump engine is, initially, a few hundred $ more to obtain.

What is it about some people reading a post and adding something not even remotely mentioned? Maybe its me but the popcorn emoticon Pissed me off! To me he was saying "I'm waiting for your next stupid comment"
P.S I advanced my timing and turned in my fuel screw in 1996 so I have a pretty good idea what fuel pump these trucks have stock.
