oh I will never own a diesel V8 unless they give it away, Ive worked on my fair share of 7.3ps including the van and I have replaced probly 5 or 6 crank position sensors something that easy should never be that damn hard. I hate diesel V8s they suck to work on. when I replaced my turbo it only took 2 hours and I didnt have to remove the body

I believe I found the article you found. Is it a white single cab 89 with black rims. If so its the worlds most powerful 1st gen with 972 hp and gets 27mpg. The owner is also a member here his name is jasonqaurtermile. It's diesel power march 2012
ok so i finally went to check this beast out,
it turns over just does not start. i couldnt find the thing that you guys are talking about, the fuel shut off thing, but i jiggled all sorts of wires and checked all sorts of grounds and nothin. but the engine bay is actually really clean looking for such an old truck i was impressed interior was in better shape than i thought but not the best the single stack is kind of oddly placed but i could fix that but back to the engine bay everything looked great, there was some fuel around the injectors but it looked like it had just been slowly building up there didnt look bad.. so any help?? turns over no boom boom.. give me a dummys "how to" on finding the shut off thing please
