Default Turbo Silencer Ring
do our 1st gens have the turbo silencer like the 94 and up models do ? ,
If so is it safe to remove it and take it off road , and mudding while the ring is out or does it let dirt in there ? , thanks

As long as it still has the stock H1C it does not have a silencer ring on it.

Not really the H1C is not that great. Maybe with a BHAF you might hear some whistle but I don't know I didn't keep the H1C around long enough to see a BHAF.

BHAF and straight pipe they whistle pretty good.

so can you explain what BHAF is to me please ? , and I am planning on making it straight pipe !

BHAF means big honkin air filter. Search it you'll find tons of info.

put the 60mm compressor wheel on there and it will sing.
