where do you mount the relays and what kind should i get

 

I just used relays, the 4 pin ones, out of a 2001 Chevy half ton. The lighter duty ones. It was Fred Lloya Insurance's and they did not seem to mind to me!

 

The relays really do work, no kidding! Your turn signal switch has problems, your hi-beams go thru it and all. Its a expensive damn cheesy switch. Replaced mine, about 2 years later, *** in a parking lot pulled out in front of me....totaled the rear of his riceburner, my only problem was Another turn signal switch....hibeams,lobeams, turn, hazards, hell, most everything goes thru that damn switch.
You'll need a security torx bit to remove one of those screws....I did mine with a air chisel and a new metric std. torx screw from Fastenal....(I bought a box of them)
