Default Metal Shavings in Diff

I pulled the cover off my diff to flush it and noticed all this metal on the magnet.

The fluid looked fairly pretty clean and not too old. The gears did not look to worn to me.

What do you think?

your gears slowly "shed" down... the magnet is just there to protect your ring, pinion, spider gears etc... also so no metal gets in your axles. if you dont notice any problems with any of your gears, it should be fine. just clean and walah..
