Okay I have a 1993 dodge le 4x4 with some wiring probleams and.suspect the computer.

Issues:

Tps short or opean code comes up even though I have tested it and I get proper voltage and a ohms reading and it seems.to be good.

No Speedo. I OHMS tested the Vss and get a ohms reading, I also tested both wires and.get voltage with the key on.

I then thought it could be the cps went bad so I air gasped it to .050 and made sure the wires had power I hey a reading of 9.5 volts so I assume its still.good,

I also tested the computer for voltages and grounds and it checks out.

So I'm lead to believe that I have ether a bad cps,computer or Vss.

My alternator is still charging but no over driver my ac pump doesn't engage and.no Speedo.

What should I replace next and test next this is driving me.nuts can someone help me!

 

Uhm normally they won't all go bad at once in the pcm as each function the pcm does is completely serate from another so it shouldn't all together fail. That thing should charge about 13.5 volts all the time. I'd start with a new crank sensor I'd say vss but your ac won't read off that.
