Allright, so I just determined that the defroster is not ... plumbed? IIRC, the door, or flap, or switch to get the defroster actuated from the heater ductwork or the A/C vents is vacuum operated; I think I can see where that hose should have been, but it sure ain't there now, so can one of you guys who's a lot smarter than me tell me a) if the defroster ducting is opened by vacuum, b) where those lines run to and from and c) if it isn't, what am I supposed to be looking for? When I move the selector switch from A/C to Defrost I just keep on blowing cold air through the vents in the dash instead of the airflow redirecting to the defrost ductwork. At some point in the next few months, it'll actually be cool enough here in South Georgia to use the defroster ... be nice to be able to.
