power steering fluidleaking into my engine
Ok so I took the kids and wife camping about two hors from the house and of course the truck starts acting funny. first thing everytime Im at idle the oil light comes on so I thought that was weird I got to the camp siteand checked the oil it was way over like 2 quarts easy which isreally weird. So being so far from the house I decide therenot much to do and even with the light on the motor sounds good. We drive home and on the drive my brake pedal goes to **** so Im like alright this is weird but i get it home oncehomeI pop the hood again and oil everywhere I pull the dipstick and the fluid is even higher. Im looking around pull the powersteering cap and bone dry. So detemined after talking it out with a buddy over many beer at the circle track last night. That the pump is blowing fluid into the motor. Any thoughts There is no powersteering fluid on the ground and the engine only is just getting higher and higher. Good times
My money is on the fuel lift-pump has ruptured internally and is leaking fuel into the engine. The power steering system doesn't have enough volume to make the engine puke oil everywhere.
Oh, and your power steering needs topping-up.
