Default Fire

A few months back started my truck and saw some smoke come from the steering column so i took it to a dealership there they said their were 7 recalls for my 1995 cummins. So free of charge they did them all ( I think) now a day ago started the truck and saw smoke coming out of the same spot but this time the steering column caught fire so i pulled both the battery cables as quick as possible and was puting water on the fire got it out in time but the trucks plastic around the ignition is melted same with the ignition it's self and the ash got all over my interior tell me some one didnt do their job.

Thats why i drive a ford. You take it to the dealership then go to get it a month later and they havent even touched it. You dont even have to wory about them messing up

But that sucks man.

That stinks that they didnt fix it right! When my brother bought his 95 Dodge diesel 3 years, it's fuel solenoid went bad about 3 months later, and Chrysler charged us $900 to replace it!!!!! If we would have known what it entailed to replace this $100 dollar part held in by two screws and an R-pin, we could have spent it on better things! LOOK AT THIS!! LarryBs.com Dodge Chrsyler screwed us like corks!!

This will not fix your truck problem, but have you considered making the moon come out early by the dealership?
